Our chaplains come from all walks of life and all kinds of religious backgrounds. Someone asked me, "What kind of people are willing to volunteer and serve two days a month for 24 hours each day and give people death notifications?"
My answer? "People with hearts of gold." |

Would you consider donating to our chaplaincy?
- It costs approximately $500 to train a chaplain and equip them with a uniform jacket. The training is 88 hours of classroom training and then a period of on the job training with an experienced chaplain.
- We have ongoing expenses: in service education, an answering service, telephone, pager service, insurance, etc.
- All of our chaplains are volunteers but it costs to get them out in the field and to keep the service going.
Law Enforcement Chaplaincy Service is a non profit, 501c3 organization and all donations are tax deductible. |

A small portion of our financial support comes from local law enforcement agencies, a handful of local churches give to our mission, and we have received some grants to continue our field work. Most of our support comes from our fundraising efforts, including our annual Pasta Feast, and from individual donations. We greatly appreciate your support. Please contact us if you have any questions.
