We were awarded the Jefferson Award, a national award, for excellence in community leadership and involvement.

November 13, 2006
We received a Merit Award from the Santa Rosa City Council in a ceremony at City Council Chambers. The award was given for providing chaplains serving public safety personnel, people with emergency medical needs, crime victims and their families. Chaplain Carolyn Poggi had nominated LECS for the award, so we asked her to accept the award. |

The Sonoma County District Attorney gave us the "Volunteers of Courage Award," for distinguished leadership and outstanding contribution in serving Sonoma County crime victims. |

We received a certificate of appreciation from the then Attorney General of the state of California, Bill Lockyer. |
